About the Course
Trauma Informed Massage Therapy Certificate Our Program
We aim to provide education to Registered Massage Therapists who work with people who have experienced or been affected by trauma. It is our goal to assist those in the Health Profession to work from a trauma-informed lens and develop trauma-informed relationships that foster safety, trust, compassion and empowerment.
Our Vision
We feel that, given the prevalence of personal,cultural, historical and global trauma, the implementation of a trauma informed approach within the practice of Massage Therapy will support improvements in client outcomes, professional satisfaction and healthier work environments.
Our Mission
We hope that by providing knowledge and equipping Registered Massage Therapists with the tools to identify and respond to trauma, we can build a model of collaborative care that encourages and supports both the well-being of our clients and ourselves.
Our Transparency
In keeping with our core values of supporting those who are challenged by the effects of trauma, Alignment by Kelly Glynn, in association with Canada Helps,org A Registered Charity allocates half of the proceeds of this course to assisting those organizations that help those experiencing trauma across Canada.
